Fresh clams delivered each morning and octopus — ‘the ginseng of the sea’ — form our broth. That is the secret behind a soup at once clean and boldly spicy.
We share the appeal of Korean spice and tradition with every visitor to Anguk — which is why food lovers from Japan and beyond keep coming back.

The store has a very clean and well-designed layout with a modern Korean style that feels comfortable and welcoming. My friends and I arrived right at opening time and were lucky enough to get seats immediately—within just 10 minutes after we sat down, the restaurant was already full, which says a lot about its popularity. The food portions are generous, and the signature spicy octopus noodles are only available for two people or more, so it’s definitely better to come in a group and share. We also tried the non-spicy clam noodles, which were absolutely delicious—the clams were fresh, sweet, and full of flavor. If I had to rank the dishes, the seafood fried pancake would be my top pick, but the spicy octopus noodles are a must-try as well. One small regret is that we didn’t get to try the fried potato chips, but that just gives me a good reason to come back again next time!5 months ago
Sooooooooo tasty Their seafood pancake has very thin batter, making it crispy and light to eat. The octopus noodles were mouth-watering and delicious as well. Yummm Just one note: the potion is huge - the pancake is pizza-size and the noodles were in a big bowl. We have 2 persons and cannot finish 2 dishes.7 months ago
